I think Ryan Gosling is becoming the new Heath Ledger.
Trying out various characters. Never doing the same role twice. Still remaining favorable with the ladies even though he goes with roles to stray away from the whole stereotypical “pretty-boy” persona. Providing a range in acting from stoic and quiet in Drive yet is absorbed in raw emotions in Blue Valentine. I bring up Heath Ledger because these were all things he did too and really built him to be such a phenomenal actor and I’m looking forward to Ryan Gosling’s career. Man-crush, I know.
